| This web site is dedicated to the memory of Jason Loyd. Jason was born May 16, 1998. He was my sweet little boy, and he was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma September 1999 and sadly lost his battle on September 12, 2000.
Neuroblastoma is one of the most common solid tumours of early childhood usually found in babies or young children. It originates in the adrenal glands or other sites of sympathetic nervous tissue. The most common site is the abdomen (near the adrenal gland) but can also be found in the chest, neck, pelvis, or other sites. Most children have widespread disease at diagnosis.
My hope is that this web site will have some relevant information for other families who have had to deal with this terrible disease. Please let me know if you are visiting and have any new information about Neuroblastoma that I could add to this site or if you would like to add your link to our web links page.
